Glass has been part of my family’s story since the 1940s. I grew up above my grandfather’s workshop, surrounded by the sounds, colours and craftsmanship of glassmaking. My father carried that same passion for glass, and his fascination with the material and pride in the making process became a familiar part of my childhood.

Although life eventually led me in a different direction, glass desgin was always somewhere in the background. For years, I imagined creating a glass art line of my own — taking a material so rooted in my family’s history and exploring it from a different perspective.

FLOES grew from that idea. A collection that brings together heritage and a more contemporary approach to glass, playing with colour, texture and organic form to create pieces that are functional, expressive and individual.

For me, FLOES is both a return to something familiar and a chance to shape it differently.
